The Governing Board

The Governing Board is a collective group of individuals designated to provide oversight and governance on behalf of the Cobb Homeless Alliance. The Board’s responsibilities are defined by the CoC and must be described in the CoC’s governance charter.

The CoC Board is representative of the relevant organizations and of projects serving homeless populations and subpopulations within the CoC's geographic area. The CoC Board also includes at least one homeless or formerly homeless individual.

The Governing Board is responsible for setting policies and guiding decisions for the CoC and its approach to addressing homelessness throughout Marietta/Cobb County. The Board also ensures that all member organizations fulfill HUD-defined requirements.
